With a wealth of experience in global education institutions and businesses spanning five continents, Sharona was brought to UCFB (the University Campus of Football Business) in 2014, leading a period of significant student and brand growth, where UCFB became the fastest-growing higher education institution in the UK.

In 2020 Sharona co-founded UCFB's sister entity, the Global Institute of Sport (GIS), delivering degrees, executive education and professional qualifications globally online and from within iconic stadiums around the world. GIS was recently ranked in the prestigious SportBusiness Magazine’s Global Top 40 Postgraduate Programmes, sharing the stage with the world’s most elite institutions. In June 2023, UCFB and GIS were crowned winners of Best Business Serving Football (over 200 employees’ category) at the Football Business Awards in the UK.

Sharona currently serves as President of GIS as well as a Director of the UCFB group of companies.

Alongside her roles with UCFB and GIS, Sharona is passionate about supporting organisations which empower others through access to education, experiences and networks.

Sharona proudly Chairs the Advisory Board for The Powerhouse Project, an organisation that supports and nurtures the next generation of high-quality female football coaches; she serves as a Non-Executive Director for Independent Higher Education, the UK membership organisation and national representative body for independent providers of higher education, professional training and pathways; and sits on the Advisory Board of SuperleagueLDN furthering her commitment to empowering and enriching the lives of the next generation in sport.
