Everybody at Global Institute of Sport (GIS) is thrilled to introduce our 18 new scholars, who began their exciting journeys with us in September 2024. Hailing from diverse backgrounds and regions, these scholars are poised to shape the future of the global sports industry.

From sports journalism and marketing to coaching, analysis, business, and more, the wide range of GIS scholarships supports students across various fields, empowering them to achieve their professional goals. Our mission is to mentor the next generation of sports industry leaders and executives, offering scholarships such as the Global Leadership Scholarship, South Asians in Football Leadership Scholarship, Principal's Progression Scholarship, and the Community First Scholarship in partnership with the Jason Roberts Foundation.

We’re also proud to support women in sport through initiatives like the Women in Sport Scholarship, which promotes female participation globally. Additionally, scholarships such as the Elite Athlete Scholarship reaffirm our commitment to educating current and former sports professionals.

In addition to financial support towards tuition fees, GIS scholars also receive other career-enhancing benefits such as mentoring and free tickets to a GIS Global Sports Summit.
