Shana has over sixteen years of teaching experience in higher education in South Africa and the United Kingdom. She has co-authored a marketing university textbook in Africa and has published research articles in leading journals. As a Head of Programme for South Africa’s leading private higher education institution, Shana coordinated and managed the delivery of more than 30 marketing and public administration subjects to three major colleges around the country. In addition, Shana developed the first marketing online Blackboard courses for South Africa’s leading private higher education sector. Shana has also been involved in corporate marketing for real estate, motor and the sports events industry in South Africa and the United Kingdom. Shana works closely with a lot of the Premier League clubs in delivering and developing her modules.

Shana is also a senior visiting lecturer at Royal Holloway University of London and guest lectures at other highly acclaimed London universities. She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy of the UK. Shana’s passions lie in higher education, singing opera, raising her two young children and advocating for inclusivity in education.
