Chantella Perera, General Manager of Sport at KOJO
Chantella is an experienced professional in the sports events and creative services industry, specialising in creating memorable experiences for fans and customers.
As the General Manager of Sport at KOJO, Chantella manages a team across Australia and New Zealand which includes the in-house production teams at Optus Stadium, Adelaide Oval, Blundstone Arena and major accounts such as Cricket Australia, ICC T20 Men's and Women's World Cups 2020/2022 and the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 amongst many other clients across the AFL, W/BBL, Super Rugby and NBL.
She has spent her ‘other’ life as a professional athlete in the WNBL for over 8 years and more recently in the AFLW with the West Coast Eagles. She is currently a member of the Box Hill Hawks VFLW program after taking time away from the field to have her daughter - Bodhi.
Chantella is a passionate, driven and self-motivated individual and loves anything that presents a challenge. She aspires to influence positive change in the community, specifically striving for diversity, inclusion, and equity for women and girls in sport, and also serves as a Director/Deputy President for Women Sport Australia.
