UCFB’s Global Institute of Sport (GIS) are delighted to participate in Soccerex’s upcoming event in Miami, taking place between 15th-16th March.

The event will connect over 2,000 senior executives from football communities around the world, creating a unique business environment through an expanded programme of industry insight, workshops, and networking opportunities. It will also feature leading administrators and soccer luminaries, such as Jake Edwards, the United Soccer League president, who will be addressing the latest issues affecting the game.

Having recently launched our GIS Inter Miami Campus, the first permanent university campus in North America, the event provides an unparalleled opportunity to showcase our pioneering degree programmes across America, including the MSc Sports Directorship programme, of which the first cohort is now underway in Florida.

GIS’ Regional Director in North America, Catherine Garrido, said: “We are delighted to be part of such a huge and well-respected event for the global football industry. It provides a great opportunity to show off our unique degree portfolio in the US, as well as engage with industry partners.”

GIS Inter Miami is joined by our global hubs at the Red Bull Arena, New York, and Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, providing students with exclusive access to the stadiums. With a range of in-person, online, and blended degree programmes, students can immerse themselves in the world of sport via these iconic venues or from the comfort of their own homes.

If you are attending the event, we would be delighted to discuss our unique degree programmes and how these can propel your career in football and sports. We can be found at booth number 503, and if you have any questions or queries in the meantime please don't hesitate to get in touch at Miami@ucfb.com.
