The Global Institute of Sport is delighted over the groundbreaking worldwide intake of new students for September 2023.

Our record intake is very exciting news, as this is the first time GIS has had cohorts studying in three continents.

In Europe, new GIS students are beginning their postgraduate journey with us at our UK-based Wembley and Manchester campuses.

Meanwhile in North America, our cohort have begun their studies at the GIS Miami Campus, based at Inter Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium.

We also have the MSc Football Coaching and Analysis students starting their studies at our Melbourne Campus in Oceania this academic year.

This is in addition to the new students on of our distance (online) options for our global postgraduate Master’s degrees.

Sharona Friedman, GIS president, said: “We are overjoyed with this fantastic step in the ongoing story of GIS.

“Students studying in Europe, North America and Oceania is a showing of GIS’ goal to grow the professionalism of the sports industry, both in quality and quantity, in numerous countries across the globe.

“With a record number of enrolments, we are very happy that GIS is attracting an incredibly impressive calibre of students, who will go on to help shape the future of the sports industry.

“GIS was founded with the intention of bringing the best learning and education from the world of sport together so that students are able to graduate with a holistic understanding of best practice from around the world."
