This policy explains how students can request consideration where unexpected circumstances affect their ability to complete or submit assessed work. Students should consult it if illness, personal circumstances or other significant events have affected their studies or assessment.
This framework explains how GIS manages applications and offers for courses awarded by its partner universities, including UEL and VUB. Applicants should consult it to understand how admissions decisions are made, how offers and conditions are handled, what evidence may be required, and how the admissions process leads into enrolment with the relevant awarding body.
Vrije Universiteit Brussel Teaching and Examination Regulations
The VUB Teaching and Examination Regulations set out the academic rules that apply to students studying on relevant VUB programmes (PGDip International Sports Management). Students on programmes within the Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy should consult these regulations to understand VUB’s rules on teaching, assessment, progression and examinations.
The UEL Student Protection Plan explains how UEL seeks to protect students if there is a risk that their programme, location or mode of study cannot continue as planned. This applies to all students registered on UEL programmes, including students studying UEL programmes with GIS.
