GIS Sydney offers industry-focused programmes designed to equip students with the skills needed to excel in the global sports industry. The Master of International Sports Business prepares future leaders for senior roles in sports administration, covering key areas such as marketing, finance, and operations. The Master of Sports Analytics focuses on data-driven decision-making for careers in sports business or performance analysis. For those seeking a flexible option, the Graduate Certificate in Sports Analytics provides a condensed, part-time pathway with the opportunity to progress to the full master’s degree.

Facilities Available

Allianz Stadium

Opened in 2022, this 42,500-seater stadium hosts football, rugby league, rugby union matches, and concerts. GIS students benefit from guest speaker sessions, networking events, and enrichment activities here.

Sydney Cricket Ground

Adjacent to Allianz Stadium, the SCG is home to the Pink Test and regular cricket and AFL matches. GIS conducts sessions in the SCG’s historic corporate suites, offering a distinctive learning environment.

University of Newcastle, Sydney Campus

Situated in the heart of Sydney’s central business district, this purpose-built facility features state-of-the-art teaching spaces across two floors. The campus includes 10 interactive teaching spaces, informal collaboration areas, a library, quiet study zones, and wireless internet. Its central location provides easy access to public transport, shops, and cafés, with Martin Place and Sydney’s retail hub right outside the door.
