GIS to host C-Suite Executive Course in Miami

Everyone at Global Institute of Sport is excited to be hosting another C-Suite Executive Course alongside being the official education partner for Soccerex in Miami!

This one-day intensive course, which will take place at Inter Miami’s Chase Stadium on November 12, is designed to provide senior football executives with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead football organizations effectively. The course covers leadership, marketing and sales, operations management, and on-pitch leadership, offering a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to succeed at the highest levels of football management, and is led by some of the most influential and successful leaders in sport. 

Participants will leave this course with a robust understanding of the multifaceted nature of football management, equipped with practical skills and strategies to drive their organizations to new heights. The course will be facilitated by BBC presenter Mark Clemmit, who will also deliver the closing section of the day.  

Schedule: 

• 9:55am – Opening and welcome Mark Clemmit, Presenter at the BBC 
• 10am – 11am – Module 1: Elevating Fan Engagement to New Heights on the biggest stage of all by Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, CEO and President of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Host Committee Miami
• 11:15am – 12:15pm – Module 2: Navigating Career Transitions from the Pitch to the Boardroom by Oguchi Onyewu, Assistant Sporting Director for the US Soccer Federation
• 12:15pm – 1:45pm – Networking lunch and fireside chat with Charlie Methven, Co-Owner of Charlton Athletic FC 
• 2pm – 3pm – Module 3: Maximizing the Impact of a Values-Centered Global Organization by Sharona Friedman, CEO and President of Global Institute of Sport 
• 3:15pm – 4:15pm – Module 4: Mastering the Art of Leading Superstar Talent as well as Inter Miami CF by Chris Henderson, Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director at Inter Miami CF
