GIS Partners with Valueletes Sports Agency to Expand Educational Pathways for Emerging African Football Talent

The Global Institute of Sport (GIS) is proud to announce a new partnership with Valueletes Sports Agency, a youth development and talent organisation committed to shaping the next generation of male and female football players across Africa. Together, we will provide young athletes with flexible access to higher education, supporting both their sporting ambitions and long-term professional development.

Supporting Holistic Athlete Development

Valueletes’ approach blends grassroots talent identification with elite-level training, mentorship from retired athletes, and personal branding support. Their mission is not only to help players excel athletically, but to ensure they develop the mindset and tools needed to thrive beyond the pitch.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Henry Eze, Lead Agent at Valueletes, said:
“This collaboration with GIS is a game-changer. We’ve always believed that the incredible talent we see in Africa deserves a global platform, and that platform must extend beyond the playing field. By creating this formal educative pathway, we are providing our players with the tools to build sustainable, long-term careers.”

As part of the partnership, GIS will offer Valueletes athletes access to its suite of online degree programmes across sports management, coaching, business, and leadership. These flexible pathways will enable athletes to balance academic progression alongside their training and competitive commitments.

A Shared Vision for Future Sports Leaders

Both organisations share a commitment to developing well-rounded athletes equipped to make an impact within the global sports industry. The partnership strengthens Valueletes’ already robust development structure by integrating formal education with professional football training environments.

Edidiong Inyang, Administrative Manager at Valueletes, highlighted this alignment:
“We are excited to partner with GIS seeing that they share our commitment to developing well-rounded athletes. This collaboration ensures our players receive quality education alongside their sporting growth, helping them build strong futures on and off the field.”

For GIS, the partnership reflects its ongoing mission to expand educational access and support athlete transition across the African sports landscape.

Richard Cross, Global Recruitment Manager at GIS, stated:
“This partnership further demonstrates our commitment to growing and supporting the African sport ecosystem and showcasing GIS’ ability to help current and former professional athletes transition into new careers in the sports industry.”

This partnership is a significant step toward empowering young African players with the education, confidence and opportunities to thrive long after their playing careers.
