GIS is delighted to announce our exciting Global Sports Summit schedule for 2027, featuring upgrades you won’t want to miss!

GIS Summits 2027: The Schedule

Bookings are now open for an action-packed year ahead, and students get to choose from four summits held across three continents, providing unparalleled insight into the global sports industry:

• Australia (Melbourne & Sydney) 15^th –24^th January

• Miami Early April*

• London 20^th –27^th May*

• Toronto 7^th –14^th June

What Can Students Expect?

Everything that makes GIS Sports Summits special is back better than ever. Each summit is based on five themes designed to immerse students in the local sports industry:

• From the Pitch: Students gain exclusive insights from those at the heart of performance. Learn from coaches, analysts and sports scientists alike through guest speaker sessions before heading to the pitch to implement what you learn as part of our new Immersive Sessions.

• From the Industry: Peak behind the curtain of the local sports scene with insight from professionals working across marketing, media, commercial partnerships, athlete management, events and operations.

• From the Boardroom: Gain exclusive access to those working at the top of sporting organisations, where students can learn how strategic decisions are made from senior leaders such as chief executives, heads of department, and more.

• Live Sport & Cultural Experiences: National landmarks, leading sporting venues and, of course, live sports are all on the agenda, meaning students can enjoy the local scene alongside the industry access.

• Networking Opportunities: Part of what makes our summits so unique, students get the chance to organically network and learn from key figures in the sports industry.

A New and Improved Experience: What’s Changed?

As well as the networking, live sport and industry access that are central to our summits, the student experience is set to be elevated in 2027 with the introduction of our Coaching & Performance Analysis Immersive Sessions.

A practical and hands-on opportunity, students will now have the chance to get involved in a live session themselves, complimented by the coaches, performance analysts and other high-performance practitioners that students will meet throughout the week.
