The Global Institute of Sport is very happy to announce the launch of NINE scholarships available to any of our students based anywhere across the globe. 

The Global Leadership Scholarship, in partnership with our Global Advisory Board, is aimed at any applicant starting any one of our Master’s degree courses in September 2023. 

Students based at any of our campuses or global hubs in Europe, North America or Oceania can apply for the scholarship. 

The Global Leadership Scholarship programme is designed to support outstanding applicants with leadership potential from across the globe, who wish to become the next leaders within the sports industry. 

There is a total of nine of these scholarships available, with applications open from now until the deadline of June 30. 

Successful applicants will have many benefits from achieving the scholarship, including: 

  • £1,600 towards Masters tuition fees  
  • Mentorship with a member of the GIS Global Advisory Board  
  • Free tickets to attend a GIS Global Summit 

As the Global Institute of Sport continues to grow globally, and have an impact on the sports industry in multiple countries, these scholarships are the next step in helping us continue that growth. 

A key element to our growth has been our Advisory Board, which these scholarships are in partnership with. The board influences and shapes the education provision of GIS to enable the next generation of sports professionals to become leaders in their field. 

The board consists of some of the most influential people in multiple sectors of the football and wider sports industry, including employees at Toronto FC, CONCACAF, Women Sport Australia, New York Red Bulls, Major League Soccer and the Premier League. 

Global Institute of Sport’s Master’s degrees are available on campus in the UK in London and Manchester, online from anywhere in the world, and courses that combine online studying with face-to-face learning in the UK, USA and Australia.
