What you need to know
As you embark on your academic journey with the Global Institute of Sport, this page is your go-to resource for all the essential details you need to start your university experience smoothly. Whether you’re a first-year student, a transfer, or returning to further your studies, we’ve gathered everything you need to know about enrolment procedures, orientation events, and how to make the most of your time with GIS.
Key dates
- Enrolment with the University of East London for GIS courses starting in January 2025 is expected to open from Monday 6th January.
- Orientation week – w/c 20th January 2025
- Teaching Start Date: w/c 27th January 2025.
Enrolment
Students will receive an email about enrolling in the coming weeks. Enrolment is completely online and involves you providing up-to-date information for your student record. It consists of 2 parts:
1. Completing your consent form with GIS
2. Completing your enrolment with one of our validating partners UEL or VUB; (Click here for UEL enrolment information) (Click here for VUB enrolment information)
