The majority England squad flew into Florida on 1 June and for their 10-day pre-tournament camp at the Gardens North County District Park, which is set to be Portugal’s training base throughout the tournament.
Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, Bukayo Saka and Dean Henderson—who all took part in European finals last week—join the team in the coming days.
Filling in for them is a set of players who did not receive the final call-up to the World Cup squad, though Tuchel admired their desire to be with the squad as they hope to make their England debuts in the friendly fixtures.
These players are Alex Scott, Josh King, Ethan Nwaneri and Rio Ngumoha, while 35-year old Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele is also supporting the squad.
As part of the preparations, it has also been reported that the England manager asked his players to holiday in North America to acclimatise to the area and climate, which exceeded 32C in their first training Florida session.
Following the friendlies, England will head to their base in Kansas City.
