Delivering international football tournaments for youth teams, and following the success of the Vertex Cup in Miami earlier this year, the event will be coming to London between 26 September and 7 October.

Competing in the tournament are U17 national teams from Argentina, Mexico, China and Tanzania, with a host of roles available to GIS students.

While in London, each team will be based at the training ground of either Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal or Brentford.

The Vertex Cup London will be formatted around 90-minute group stage matches on the 1st, 4th and 7th of October, while each team will also face a Premier League academy side during their stay.

Supported by representatives based in Manchester, Buenos Aires and Riyadh, the Vertex Cup is an international tournament, with the Miami edition broadcasted in 18 countries, emphasising the size of the competition that GIS students can get involved with.

What Roles are Available?

Voluntary, London-based roles are available, with applicants preferred if fluent in English and Spanish/Mandarin/Swahili.

Successful applicants will support across the following roles:

Team Liaison Officer
