If you choose our MSc Football Coaching and Analysis, your studies will be primarily online, allowing you to explore Australia without being tied to one location. However, our distance with attendance format offers the best of both worlds—alongside online learning, you’ll participate in two separate one-week residentials in London, Miami, or Melbourne.
Alternatively, you can choose to study any one of our completely online sports Master’s degrees for the ultimate flexibility during your time in Australia.
Melbourne is also a host city for our renowned annual Global Summits. These summits give students the opportunity to attend talks, network with leading sports industry professionals, watch live sporting events, and explore everything the city has to offer!
While in Australia, students can even get paid coaching experience with our industry partners, particularly The AllStar Academy (TAA). TAA coaching roles allow you to work around your studies and earn $30-45 an hour for doing so.
Additionally, GIS provides opportunities with clubs in the National Premier Leagues (NPL) via a partnership with the Association of Australian Football Clubs (AAFC) and have a strong relationship with Brisbane’s Virginia United, who consistently hire GIS coaches during their studies.
You can also study one of our in-person degrees at GIS Sydney. Our latest campus integrates Sydney’s brand-new Allianz Stadium and the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), alongside modern teaching facilities in the heart of Sydney’s central business district.
